My mom has moved in with me and needed an end table by her recliner in her bedroom so she can put her stuff in and have the tv remote close by ect... This is a perfect size for what she needed. I looked for a long time before I settled on this and I'm glad I bought this one for her.

When I received the product it was missing a piece and another piece was the wrong size. They have instructions on what to do when peices are missing - instructions so specific it leads you to believe this happens often but that is pure speculation. It takes an additional 7-14 days to get the new pieces.

just assembled this table and it took about 30 minutes.

it looks ok when looking from distance. but close inspection can easily tell it is a low quality furniture.

the table top and some of the body are made out of solid wood but the side, back walls and the drawer bottom are actually some painted cardboards which are quite thin and flimsy. i guess an average adult can easily break it with bare hand. so only for light duty use, do not put too much weight on it. especially the drawer bottom may simply fall out with too much weight.

you also need to be gentle during assemble since some parts are just fragile and do not withstand screw. when i was assembling the drawer, i found i could not tighten down one screw, it just keeps turning but would not reach tight. i then discovered that the back and side walls of the drawer are actually also made of thick hard cardboard, not wood! although they look like wooden. so when i was tightening the one screw, it just cracked open and could no longer hold the screw. (i am just average person, not strong and i did not try super hard) luckily each wall is held by two screw and the other one is still tight so i can still manage to finish the assembly. you really need to be gentle when putting screws on especially for the drawer; do not put too much torque on it or you may risk cracking the material.

overall this table is ok for light use and may look fine. but the building quality is low, even for its price ($40).
